Dr. Purva’s journey began at Nair Hospital - Mumbai, one of the city's oldest and most revered Indian-origin medical colleges, where she earned her MBBS. This foundational training instilled in her the values of precision, empathy, and excellence that guide her practice today.

She then pursued her postgraduate MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Sion Hospital, widely regarded as India's premier institution for the specialty. Here, she immersed herself in a high-volume environment unlike any other: with over 100,000 OPD patients annually, directly conducting more than 1000 deliveries annually, operating on a variety of complex cases including various ovarian cysts, huge fibroids, congenital disorders and serving as the referral hub for all of central Mumbai. This unparalleled exposure sharpened her clinical acumen in high-risk pregnancies, infertility, and complex gynecological cases.

Following her postgraduate training, she spent few years in government hospitals gaining diverse, real-world experience across Mumbai's top public institutions: KEM Hospital, Sion Hospital, and Shatabdi Hospital. These roles honed her ability to handle everything independently from routine consultations to emergency complex interventions with compassion and skill.

To stay at the forefront of modern medicine, she further specialized in minimal access surgery, including advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, under the tutelage of the world's leading laparoscopic surgeons. She got exposure to various complex surgeries such as endometriosis, large fibroids, fertility enhancing surgeries and cancer surgeries, which honed her skills in minimal access surgeries and benefitting her patients. Today her advanced and compassionate care ensures that patients benefit from cutting-edge and minimally invasive techniques that reduce recovery time and improve outcomes.
